Board of Directors

Emily Yu is the Chairwoman of S.A.Y. International Trade Co., Ltd. in Cambodia, leading the import, distribution, and exclusive retail representation of design-driven brands like LAMY, a renowned German #thinkingtools company. She also serves as Managing Director & Board Member of Winland Group, focusing on luxury property developments in cities like Beijing, Hangzhou, and Xiamen, China. Emily spearheaded significant projects such as the Winland International Finance Center in Beijing, China's most expensive lease-only AAA office tower. Her earlier career included transforming New York City's Brewster Carriage House into luxury condos, sold to celebrities including John Legend and Chrissy Teigen. Emily began her finance career on Wall Street at Morgan Stanley, dealing with Telecom and Media Investment Banking, and later at BNP Paribas in Credit Derivatives Trading. A Wharton School graduate with a B.Sc in Economics, concentrating in Finance and Real Estate, Emily hails from Vancouver, Canada, and speaks French, Mandarin, and English fluently.

Yein Ngo graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto and is a Certified Financial Planner in Canada. With over eight years in financial consultation and four years as a business owner, Yein draws inspiration from successful global figures. As the CEO of Sun Apple Developments, she manages a diverse portfolio of projects across Cambodia, including leading the Apple OKL project in Kampong Speu. Yein plays a crucial role in shaping sales strategies and partnership collaborations for Apple Hotel Three near Phnom Penh airport. She recently concluded a complex six-year negotiation for the sale of a garment factory in Phnom Penh. Active in business development in Cambodia, Yein has served as President of the Women’s International Group and participates in organizations like BNI and the Cambodia Business Development Association, driven by her vision to bring Cambodia to the world.

Denis Barre has over 25 years of experience in Human Resources and Corporate Services and is committed to using his expertise to enhance the social and economic welfare of the Cambodian people. Beginning his career in 1993 in Cambodia with a Bachelor of Commerce, Denis initially worked in purchasing within the hospitality sector. He relocated to Canada in the early 2000s, where he earned designations including Project Management Professional (PMP) and Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), and completed the Harvard Executive Leadership In-Residence Program in Boston. After a 20-year career in the Oil and Gas industry in Calgary, holding roles like Director of People Logistics at Petro-Canada/Suncor Energy, Denis returned to Cambodia to start an HR Search & Consulting business (www.convergences.asia) and serves as Director, Secretary, and Treasurer at the Canadian Chamber of Commerce. Denis enjoys dual residency in Canada and Cambodia, actively engaging in community activities in Pursat.

Victor La is an experienced General Manager at Keller Williams Sihanoukville, a seasoned entrepreneur, and a success factor coach. His career spans over two decades across Canada, Australia, Southeast Asia, and China, collaborating with a wide range of companies from multinational corporations to SMEs and technology startups. Specializing in technology, branding, marketing, and talent management, Mr. La has extensive experience in industries like real estate, media, FMCG, tourism, healthcare, finance, technology, and human resources. Committed to empowering young Cambodians in entrepreneurship and leadership development, Mr. La is a passionate advocate for the impact of mentorship and skill development on the next generation of leaders.

David Stevenson is a Business Development Manager at the Cambodian Institute for Research and Rural Development (CIRD) where he applies his extensive expertise in technology and engineering to enhance agricultural value chains across Cambodia. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, David focuses on integrating innovative technologies to optimize efficiency and sustainability. He also serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Green Route Cambodia Enterprise (GRC), managing strategic operations and promoting sustainable business practices through technological advancements. Splitting his time between Cambodia, the United States, and New Zealand, David is deeply involved in both community and professional endeavors, leveraging his technical and strategic acumen to drive significant economic and developmental projects.
